Artmagic is Suede's Richard Oakes (guitars) & Sean McGhee (voice, production). Their Debut album “Become The One You Love” released May 2012.

Richard Oakes is best known for his work with Suede. He steered them to their commercial height with his contributions to their best-selling album "Coming Up" and its run of 5 Top 10 UK hit singles.  

Sean McGhee has recorded and mixed number one singles for Britney Spears, sung backing vocals for Alanis Morissette and worked with Robyn, Rizzle Kicks & Imogen Heap.  

Artmagic meshes Richard's wiry guitar with Sean's troubled tenor and crystalline synths, making  spectral, melodic adult pop that touches on post-punk, woozy chillwave and atmospheric melancholia.  

Artmagic play their first full-band show of 2012 on 1st March at The Bowery and they'll be showcasing material from their forthcoming debut album “Become The One You Love”, including the album's first single “Down In The River” (out in March 2012).
