Charlie Savigar

Classically trained pianist - Charlie Savigar - has a distinctive contemporary country rock style that distinguishes her as an exciting, young singer-songwriter. It wasn’t always that way, Charlie was originally pursuing a promising career in sport until her music came to the attention of Status Quo legend – Francis Rossi. This in turn lead him to teach her guitar and set her on course to where she is now.

Charlie writes and arranges all her own songs and plays both guitar and piano live and in the studio. She is also currently performing with her exciting live band across London and the UK (featuring former Drumtech teacher and pupil of the year – Haydn Callow). She has also been in the studio recording an EP and is currently working on recording new material with a variety of musicians including Hartke & Rotosound endorsee: Alex Lofoco.

Charlie cites Bonnie Raitt and Shelby Lynne as her biggest influences, but she also enjoys many other artists from Pearl Jam to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. This range of musical appreciation alongside her classical training means her music features an eclectic range of styles.
